Alyssa and John met through mutual friends at a Orlando City Soccer game, and they hit it off ever since! I was able to capture their engagement photos at the beautiful Kraft Azalea Garden. They wed at The Capen House, a gorgeous three acre hidden gem nestled along Lake Osceola in Winter Park, Florida. Their special day was filed to the brim with sweet, kairos moments of gratitude and love for one another. Their photos were airy, sunlit, and freaking gorgeous. How lucky am I to capture this model couple? Cheers, Alyssa & John!
Over two years ago, I was sitting next to Julia in a car packed full of friends after some stolen time away in northern Georgia, when she was texting with a fella named Mark and confirmed a first-time Starbucks date. While during this weekend in the mountains, I was able to capture some stunning photos of Julia, little did I know how much more stunning she was going to be as a bride! What an honor and delight it was to capture Julia and Mark’s beautiful wedding day. They exchanged vows under the lovely late afternoon light at the darling Birdsong Barn venue in Titusville. Cheers to Mark and Julia!
These two said yes under a heavenly sunset in Siesta Key, Florida. This intimate, bohemian beach wedding could not have been more perfect. The tropical, warm aesthetics painted a stunning backdrop during the golden hour. Even more stunning is the love and humility that this couple has for one another. Indeed, these two were one of the sweetest couples I've had the opportunity to photograph!
This urban engagement session was stunningly colorful and authentic, all with the City Beautiful as our backdrop! We started in Mayor Carl T. Langford Park, and then stopped at Pho Hoa, and then made our way downtown Orlando - where these two lovebirds first met!
These love birds said their vows under the South Carolina sunlight. There wasn't a dry eye in sight as they shared the redemptive story on how God had thoughtfully brought them together. Late afternoon, we lingered down Spanish Moss Trail for the bride and groom portraits. The lovely brick corridors formerly hosted train stops for the Magnolia Line Railroad.
These beauties adventured through the hearty hiking trails of Mount Dora for a darling sister shoot. The soft, overcast light gave these photos a lovely airy look. It was fun driving by Renninger's Flea Market, and all of the other charming, small town nostalgia of central Florida. I hope to be back at this location to photograph again soon!
It was definitely an adventure capturing the Walker's holiday portraits in Ocala National Forest. Although it was a bit of journey to get there, it all proved worth it once we began flipping through the "treasure trove" of portraits that came out from this time. I couldn't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than photographing such a phenominal and loving family.
This dreamy afternoon family photo session felt like stolen time as we adventured through Mead Botanical Garden at a relaxed pace. It was comical to find others strolling around the park who were just as mesmerized by the beauty around us as we were. What a privilege to be able to know and photograph this phenomenal family. They are pure gold; pointing others to an even greater treasure.
This fairytale beach wedding took place off of the shores of Saint Augustine, Florida. Beautiful, heart-written vows were exchanged under a painted sunset, while the atlantic breeze wove everyone closer together. These two could not be more darling! Market lights were strung, champagne poured, and warm toasts given in the cozy beach house nearby. I'm overjoyed that I was able to capture these life-changing moments. Cheers to you, Robin & Kate!
Miller and Anna were wed at Bethesda Academy in Savannah, Georgia. The afternoon rain had everyone guessing where the ceremony would end up, which added an element of surprise. Thankfully, the clouds cleared just in time. The Spanish moss dripped with diamonds in the afternoon light, along with this beautiful Southern bride. They exchanged vows under a rainbow, and danced the night away.
I'll never forget when Miller and Anna, without looking at each other, held hands in a quiet chapel before their wedding. There was so much joy, excitement and passion tangled up in this one moment! Here's to many more of these moments to come!
It was a joy taking Chloe and Jason's engagement photos in Crosby Farm Regional Park, a little hidden oasis tucked near the Minneapolis International Airport. It is a place where they enjoy leisurely walks together. The weather and light was heavenly! I'm looking forward to photographing these two tie the knot next spring!
Scott and Lisa exchanged their vows on a lovely September afternoon in Ettrick, Wisconsin. Their backyard was decorated to reflect Scott's avid hunting skills and Lisa's eye for color and creativity. The entire day was woven together with meaningful moments, joyful tears and hearty laughs. I'm so grateful to have had the joy of capturing such a beautiful day!
These sweethearts were wed in a charming old chapel at Oak Hill Weddings in Apple River, Illinois, where they also danced the night away with class and sass. I was so impressed with their attitude toward the evening rain, which didn't seem to faze them. Their love for each other clearly defied the weather as they took these beautiful shots. Congratulations Sean & Liz!
Jake and April met in grad school, where they became close. They were wed on this sunny afternoon on Brighton Beach in Duluth, Minnesota. Their love for others and one another was real, raw, and a beauty to capture. My absolute favorite part was April walked down the aisle with her dad. It took all of me to hold back my tears while capturing such a beautiful moment. All the best to you, April & Jake!
Kelli met Ben at a bike shop where he worked. They started to get to know each other over bike ride dates. Needless to say, they decided to shift gears! They were wed in the beautiful fields of Aldo Leopold Nature Center, in Monona, Wisconsin. This place was laced with wild and wonder. As you walked the trails, the Shasta daisies and sunflowers towered over you. We didn't want to leave!
Meet Sean and Maggie. Maggie met Sean while enrolled at Arizona University. On their first date, Sean picked her up in full uniform and Maggie nearly swooned. They were wed this beautiful afternoon at Maggie’s grandparent’s homestead in central Minnesota. The families’ fond memories of spending summers here filled the air, along with laughter, tapping boots, and popped champagne. Did I mention their epic jet ski send off?
